$6.5 Million Project
L’Arche Stratford is all about sharing life together. The support of adults with developmental disabilities is at the core of everything we do, they are the heartbeat of L’Arche and this is why we call them core members. The Be Become Belong capital campaign sprung from the desire to welcome more people into our L’Arche Stratford community.
To create a truly inclusive society, we must strengthen a culture of belonging. A culture of belonging is a learning culture.
Nothing about me without me. Nothing about us without us.
Co-learning and co-leading

Vision
In 2017, L’Arche embarked on a transformative journey, purchasing the former Montessori School on Britannia Street with a vision to create inclusive living spaces. The plan to renovate the school was reevaluated after recognizing financial uncertainties. The decision was made to build a new fully accessible building, offering eight accessible living suites and space for community activities and offices.  The $6.5 million capital campaign will help transform lives.
